Even if you are young and healthy your routines and your life has had to change: you might be working from home, you might have had to limit your social contact, you might be wearing a protective face mask for the first time in your life. In this way, it affects us all. Still, it needs to be acknowledged that some people, especially the elderly or the immunocompromised, are in a position to suffer more from this pandemic than others.
One thing that is very clear in the many discussions about how a pandemic like this one should be handled is that we are all in this together, and we have to work together to solve it. We have to take precautions and make sacrifices that, if not for ourselves, then for the safety and health of others. We, as a global society, have to take stock of what is truly important. And if you are staying home and thus participating in social distancing, working from home and taking the necessary sanitary precautions then you are helping - maybe more than any of us will ever understand.
Our small company has, just like everyone else, been greatly affected by the COVID-19 epidemic. Not only as a business, but also as individuals within the company. Still, we are seeing more clearly now than ever how important elderly care is, not only in Sweden but worldwide, and we are more dedicated than ever in our mission to help alleviate the work they are doing with our modern, cutting-edge technology.
